Framework
Most shutters are ordered using a framework which is fitted to the existing window/door frame or mounted within the recess or to the face wall. The frames come complete with closure magnets. These keep the panels closed onto the framework allowing you to have a window open with the shutters held in place.

Track system
A track system can be installed for larger applications such as doorways or windows where the width is far greater than height.
